FNL is also very good -- in some ways. for me its like science fiction, since Texas and Vermont could be considered on two separate planets. Certainly the high school on FNL, where football is all that matters, is a different model than the ones we've got here.
I had a long discussion on another site I frequent trying to explain to people not from Texas just how much football dominates things. You don't even have to like football. It's just how the world is viewed in Texas. It's a little freaky, if not a source of amusement to many.
And that is one hilarious review. Had no intention of seeing that movie, but still a funny review!
